2. You are a film director and producer based in Los Angeles, but you also have a background as a former bodyguard for high-profile celebrities. We will delve into this further, but could you explain the reason behind this career transition?

It all started when I was a New York police officer, and through a fortuitous encounter, I was introduced to Leonardo DiCaprio. Given my background, he expressed interest in having me work with him.

3. At what age did you embark on your career as a bodyguard?

I began my career as a bodyguard when I was 27 years old.

4. How did the desire to transition from being a bodyguard to becoming a director and producer emerge? Was it a childhood dream of yours?

The path towards acting and producing emerged from my experiences working as a bodyguard.

5. You have directed and produced several horror films, documentaries, and even won an Emmy award. Out of all your works, which movie are you most proud of and why?

In terms of documentaries, I would have to say I am most proud of "Wasted Talent" due to its compelling content and the individuals involved. The story truly fascinated me. Although it sparked some controversy, given my former role as an NYPD officer, I believe we successfully captured a great narrative by presenting multiple perspectives from all parties involved. INTERVIEW

6- Do you currently have any film projects in progress, and if so, could you tell us more about them?

We recently completed filming a project called "Monica" starring Patricia Clarkson and Emily Browning. The film is set to be released in 2022. It revolves around the story of a transgender woman, a timely topic that I personally support. We've been receiving early Oscar buzz, and I'm thrilled for everyone to see it. Additionally, we have two other projects that we will be announcing in the coming weeks once the contracts are signed.

7- As a filmmaker, you often go through casting processes to find your actors. Can you provide information for actors who may be interested in auditioning for roles in your future films? Are there specific websites or agencies they should apply to?

Typically, when we announce a film, we receive submissions through agents and managers. Our casting director then selects actors who may be suitable for the roles. So, actors who are interested should focus on securing representation through reputable agents or managers in the industry.

8- What inspires you when it comes to your past and future films?

When I come across an idea that resonates with me creatively and commercially, I discuss it with my team to make informed decisions. Inspiration can come from various sources, but ultimately, it's about finding stories that captivate and engage audiences.

9- Throughout your career, you have protected numerous celebrities. Could you share some famous names of the celebrities you have had the responsibility of protecting?

I've had the privilege of working with notable individuals such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Michael Stipe, and Alanis Morissette, to name a few. It was a great experience collaborating with each of them.

10- When discussing your work as a bodyguard, it's impossible not to mention your association with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. You served as their official bodyguard. Do you have any fond memories of this experience?

Unfortunately, my experience working with them did not go as planned, and it became a widely talked-about topic. At this point, there's not much more to say that hasn't already been said.

11- How did you react to becoming such a high-profile celebrity bodyguard? Did this mark a turning point in your career?

To be honest, I never really anticipated becoming a high-profile celebrity bodyguard. I enjoyed my job and took pride in it. Although some controversies arose, it certainly propelled me into the spotlight. I'm sure there are others who are more skilled in the field, but they may not have garnered the same attention due to the high-profile nature of my clients.

12- Among the celebrities you have worked with, who has left the most lasting impression on you and with whom you share fond memories? On the other hand, are there any celebrities who have disappointed you, and why?

I've had the pleasure of working with many celebrities who have made a lasting impression on me. Each interaction was unique and memorable in its own way. As for disappointments, I prefer not to dwell on negative experiences and instead focus on the positive connections I've made in my career.

As mentioned earlier, I had a great experience with all of my clients and cherish fond memories with them.

13- You've probably been asked this question multiple times. You were working on a project to create a short film based on your experience as a bodyguard for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West. Is this project still relevant today? If so, where can our readers watch your documentary?

I was approached with the idea of making a documentary about the couple, but at this time, there is no official offer on the table. To be honest, I have moved on from that situation and focused on bigger and better things, just as they have. I genuinely wish them all the best.

14- The couple reportedly threatened you with a 10 million dollar lawsuit after some of your statements. How was this matter resolved?

The media exaggerated this situation. There was no official 10 million dollar lawsuit filed.

15- Finally, we conclude this interview with a key question from Eclair Magazine. If you could give advice to your younger self, what would it be?

I would tell my younger self to never be afraid of failure, to pursue my dreams relentlessly, and not to be discouraged by those who say I can't achieve something. If you have a dream, dream boldly.

Please let me know if there are any further parts of the interview you would like me to correct or improve.
